Center for Artistic Research
2000 - current

The Center for Artistic Research, or CFAR is an artist collaborative that I facilitate which brings together artists that work with primarily digital tools or use technology to realize their artworks. The original group of designers, programmers, musicians and visual artists were assembled in early 2000 and spawned a number of discussions, and collaborations such as the project shown below. CFAR is open to others interested in joining us in these efforts - inquire at the CFAR website.

The latest CFAR project, Sidewalk Symphony, is a performance and sound installation that records sounds from a public environment, arranges them in a musical score and plays them back as music. Sidewalk Symphony was made possible by a grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council, RACC.
